Pakistan Rural Communities are the Victims of 2010, 2011 & 2012 & now 2014 Super Floods hit Punjab & Sindh, millions affected, we at Rose of Sharon Foundation through this project want to support women and children at their door step for provision of medical care & medicinal support to 1,000 families & about 8,000 people will be benefited from this flood relief activity. Rose of Sharon Foundation staff already in action to asses and provide food & medical aid to rural poor families lost their all house, crops & livestock.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
Pakistan hit by fresh floods about 300 people death recorded and hundreds injured, houses, crops & livestock damages recorded at high level. thousands of women and children residing in open sky without basic food and health facilities. this is the time to respond quickly to support flood victims in this difficult situation. Food & medical relief needs for the IDPs on urgent basis to save women and children affected mostly in the floods
How will this project solve this problem?
Project will provide urgent basis food and medical care as well as treatment to 1,000 families at their places, wherever they are living in tents or road side. The floods displaced more than 8,000 people will be provided with food and medicine at their door step. Further Rose of Sharon Foundation will also arrange medical care in tents/shelter houses for the women and children affected by floods 2014.
Potential Long Term Impact
more than 8,000 people displaced by floods of 2014 will be provided with food and treated at their door step, initially project will be food support for flood victims and later we will see to start rehabilitation of flood victims.
